Day 1 Barcelona 2018

8am meeting at the airport and we were off, all 40 pupils and 5 staff.  On the coach ride into Barcelona port, the guide pointed out various famous sites in Barcelona, including the cemetery at Montjuic which has family vaults, mausoleums and sepulchral niches above the ground, as well as some of the famous sites including the Olympic stadium.
They won our boat journey around Barcelona airport included lots of interesting information from the boat tour guide about the capacity of Barcelona port and the different boats, cargos and industries there, as well as pointing out different viewpoints of Barcelona.
A somewhat turbulent flight, a mobile left on the plane and a 35 min hike into Salou all added to the experience.
