Day 2 evening

Our favourite way to end each day, at the beach then home via the shops. There was American football, football, as well as a paddle in the sea for many. 

Day 2 Montserrat and Camp Nou

Lots of tired faces at breakfast this morning, despite settling well last night. Firstly, we headed to Montserrat, getting the cable car up to the monastery. The views were spectacular. Then we headed to McD’s for a quick lunch before going to Camp Nou for the Spotify Immersive Experience. 

Several purchases later, we got the coach back to the hotel and many headed straight for the pool to cool down. We’ve just had dinner and are heading to the beach and the shops. 

Day 1 evening at the beach

Time to burn off what little energy remained at the beach this evening, with some high-spirited football and some paddling in the sea. Strictly speaking, some paddling and some soaked 😳😂 

Day 1 travel and Barcelona tour

Sunday, the day of early starts, airline and coach travel, but also.. a coach tour of Barcelona, with stop offs at the ‘mirador’ to see the city from the top of the hill, and to walk round to see the Sagrada Família, as well as seeing some of Gaudi’s other famous architecture. The coach journey down to Salou was fairly quiet with lots of tired pupils having a wee doze on the journey. We have all just had dinner and dessert and are now getting ready to head to the beach. The best thing has been how much Spanish has been spoken already 👏
