Irlanda del Norte otra vez
Well, we've landed after a flight with some bonding with each other, some sleeping and some being beaten comprehensively at Scrabble on the iPad. Chic@s, you were fab, muchas gracias a todos.

Wed evening
Post-beach and Anglo-Hispanic rivalries are taking the shape of a water polo match. It is somewhat reminiscent of David and Goliath (they appear to be 16 or 17) except that this time there is no against the odds win forecast :-( Dinner shortly then down to the mercado.
A la playa
So here we are, at the beach, with the sunworshippers stretched out on towels and the water babies splashing enthusiastically. We would say we are missing you.. But we aren't (not at the mo, sorry!)
Wednesday am
This morning we went past the Olympic Stadium, stopping for a Usain Bolt-style photo before going on up to the summit of Montjuic for a ride down on the cable cars. Afterwards, we went to the Plaza de Catalunya for lunch and a quick shop. There were protesters camped out in the square, a unique site.
Pupils (and Mr Arnold) have been learning lots of new vocabulary on this trip, as well as ordering and greeting in Spanish.

Aquarium
Pupils enjoyed the aquarium especially the official photosat the start. Hollie had never been to an aquarium before, whilst Daniel said "lo pas?? bomba" to Miss Lee's great joy. Mrs Salt discovered free wifi in Burger King, to her bank balance's great joy, with all this moblogging!
Aquarium etc
We visited the aquarium after lunch. The pupils enjoyed the official photos at the start and the different fish on view as well as the moving walkway round the shark tunnel. Hollie had never been to an aquarium before. Daniel said "Lo pas?? bomba" , to Miss Lee's great joy.
We stopped at an aqueduct on the way home, which is the second biggest in Spain. After dinner, we went to the beach and then found Wifi in Burger King to Mrs Salt's great joy.

Aquarium
Pupils thought the official photos at the start were great. Rebecca thought that there were many species of fish that we don't have at Portaferry. Hollie had never been to an aquarium before and really enjoyed it. We stopped at this aqueduct for 5 minutes on the way home. It is the second biggest in Spain, after the one in Segovia.

FC BAR??A
This morning we visited Camp Nou, where pupils went round the stadium and then shopped with enthusiasm in the shop (sorry, parents!) Quotes included "It was the best day of my life" (Daniel) and "Going to the very top was scary but cool" (David) Lewis liked the trophies and Rebecca liked going down onto the pitch.
